Combining the Knox Play Scale and Integrated Group theories to encourage interaction among children, while incorporating the necessary social skills for everyday life.

Description of Play Scale:

• Space Management Dimension
• Material Management Dimension
• Imitation Dimension
• Participation Dimension

Developmental Play Scale:

• Parallel play: plays beside others but play remains independent
• Co-operative play: groups of 2-3 organized to achieve a goal

Objectives:

• Sharing
• Turning
• Peer interaction
• Encouraging motor skills
• Introducing humor

Two registered therapists and one aide
will be present during each session.
Children will be divided into appropriate
age ranges with a limited number in each group.
